Optional analytics

With your permission, Dito measures visits, sources and campaigns, page and button engagement, performance, and content-free contract-checking actions. Anonymous identifiers connect visits on ditoit.com and app.ditoit.com. An account identifier is hashed when signed-in activity is measured. Our private founder dashboard also uses confirmed payment and subscription metadata.

Analytics never records uploaded files, filenames, contract text, report content, passwords or card details. Optional replay records only public marketing pages, with text masked and forms blocked. Product, account and payment pages are excluded from replay and heat maps.

Identity and consent cookies last up to 180 days; sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Behavioral metadata is available for up to 365 days and masked replays for seven days. Withdrawal stops optional collection and clears the analytics identity cookie. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable optional collection. Dito does not sell this analytics data or use it for advertising.

Contract processing and temporary browser storage

The app reads your selected PDFs to compare them. Some pages may be sent to Dito’s backend and AWS Textract to read text needed to finish your report. This is temporary processing, not a permanent archive of your source documents. Dito does not store source PDFs, page images or report content in its server-side billing records.

Where browser storage is available, your browser can temporarily keep one purchased report or an in-progress purchase for the current browser session, up to 24 hours. That local record can contain the produced report, file names, sizes, fingerprints and purchase information. It does not contain the original PDF files. Starting over or signing out clears the local record.

Download any report you want to keep and retain your originals. Your account or payment receipt is not a permanent document archive. The app’s processing practices do not imply that nothing is transmitted to a provider or guarantee zero retention by every provider.

Accounts and payments

A single $5 comparison does not require an account. An account is used for memberships, monthly check allowances and billing access. Sign-in is supported through AWS Cognito. Dito uses account and session identifiers to manage access to the service.

Stripe processes checkout, subscriptions and billing management. Dito uses transaction references, payment status and membership information to confirm access, manage allowances and resolve billing questions. Payment and account records are separate from contract content. See Refunds & cancellations for billing support.

Stripe handles payment information under its Privacy Policy. AWS describes its handling of information in its Privacy Notice.

Website delivery and security

Website and app visits send technical request information to hosting infrastructure, including an IP address, requested URL, browser/request headers and request time. The marketing website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. The service at app.ditoit.com uses AWS infrastructure. This processing supports delivery, reliability, troubleshooting and protection against abusive traffic.

Dito offers optional audience analytics and masked public-page recording, as described above. These features run only after you allow analytics. The website does not include advertising pixels or third-party content embeds. Hosting and security services may use essential cookies and logs. Dito’s app also uses browser storage for sign-in and temporary purchase or report access. See the Cookie Policy.

Hosting providers control their infrastructure logs and retention. We do not promise that all technical request information is immediately deleted. Cloudflare describes its processing in its Privacy Policy.

Optional source survey

After your report, you may choose to tell us how you heard about Dito. We save only your selected source, a random response identifier and the submission time, for up to 365 days. We do not attach document content, filenames, payment details or your analytics identity to that answer. Submitting the survey does not turn visitor analytics on.

Earlier launch notification requests

If you previously requested a launch notification, your email address, signup details and consent record may remain in the launch list. These requests are separate from a paid purchase or subscription. Contact j@ditoit.com to withdraw a request or ask for deletion.

Information you choose to email

When you email us, your email address, message, any name you provide and any attachments are sent through email services and become available to the Dito team handling your question. We use that information to respond and manage the conversation.

Send only what is necessary. Do not email confidential contracts, passwords, bank credentials or complete payment-card numbers. For a billing issue, provide a receipt reference and a description of the problem.

Email messages may remain in our email system and its backups. Contact us to request review, correction or deletion of information you sent.

Providers and external links

Hosting, security, identity, document-processing, payment and email providers process information needed to supply their services. Provider processing can take place outside your state or country. External links take you to separately operated websites that handle visits under their own policies.

Your privacy choices

You can browse illustrative reports without submitting a contract, control cookies and storage through your browser, clear your local comparison record, and contact j@ditoit.com to request access, correction or deletion of information you provided. Include enough context to identify your request without sending unnecessary sensitive information. Appropriate verification may be needed.

Dito disables optional analytics when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. These signals do not disable essential delivery, security or account processing.

Rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to the business and the information. This notice does not limit rights you have under applicable law. Updates will appear here with an updated date.
