Cookie Policy

Cookies and browser storage used by Dito’s website and contract-checking app.

Optional analytics

With your permission, Dito measures visits, sources and campaigns, page and button engagement, performance, and content-free contract-checking actions. Anonymous identifiers connect visits on ditoit.com and app.ditoit.com. An account identifier is hashed when signed-in activity is measured. Our private founder dashboard also uses confirmed payment and subscription metadata.

Analytics never records uploaded files, filenames, contract text, report content, passwords or card details. Optional replay records only public marketing pages, with text masked and forms blocked. Product, account and payment pages are excluded from replay and heat maps.

Identity and consent cookies last up to 180 days; sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Behavioral metadata is available for up to 365 days and masked replays for seven days. Withdrawal stops optional collection and clears the analytics identity cookie. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable optional collection. Dito does not sell this analytics data or use it for advertising.

Security cookies, without advertising trackers

Dito uses optional analytics cookies only after you allow analytics. These cookies connect anonymous visits between ditoit.com and app.ditoit.com; they do not contain document content. There are no advertising pixels. Our hosting infrastructure uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare may set security cookies as described below.

Depending on security checks, Cloudflare may also use challenge cookies, such as cf_clearance, to remember a passed security challenge. These are described in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.

Remembering the optional survey

The app uses a dito_attribution_answered cookie for up to 180 days after you answer or skip the optional source survey, so it does not keep asking. Browser session storage holds a random response identifier to prevent duplicate answers during retries. These preferences do not enable visitor analytics and contain no document content.

Your choices

Use the analytics choices above to allow or decline optional collection. The dito_analytics_v1 identity cookie and dito_analytics_consent choice cookie last up to 180 days. The consent choice remains when you decline, so we can remember it. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking security cookies can cause additional security checks or prevent access.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable optional analytics. These signals do not disable essential website delivery or security processing.

App sessions and temporary browser storage

The app uses essential cookies for sign-in, account access and purchase continuity. It also uses a browser-session cookie named dito-keep and IndexedDB storage to temporarily keep one produced report or an in-progress purchase, where browser storage is available.

The local record may contain the produced report, file names, sizes, fingerprints and purchase details. It does not store the source PDFs. It is available for the current browser session, up to 24 hours. Starting over or signing out clears the record. If storage is blocked, the app cannot provide the same temporary return access.

Stripe checkout and AWS sign-in services have their own essential cookies and policies. See the Privacy Policy for processing providers and billing information.
